Today, the developers behind the award nominated physics simulation AMBF gave a webinar to our research group. Adnan Munawar and Peter Kazanzides of the Sensing, Manipulation, and Real-Time Systems (SMARTS) lab introduced us to their simulator.

The pandemic emerged over Europe the moment the Young Investigator Group was formed. Some of the students were only able to visit DLR during their interview, yet had never worked on-site before the shutdown.
The past weeks have shown us that the fundamental mechanisms of our society are extremely prone to failure. Medical care and research, transport, agriculture and food supply, as well as industrial manufacturing, are not prepared for pandemic emergencies.
The FUTURO Young Investigator Group has officially been kicked off and will start operations in March! The group was appointed end of 2019, following a two-step review process.
